As u all r aware that Neighbourhood Management Councils (NMCs) have been there for managing local tasks at every block of every sector. Further there is a provision for Sector Management Councils (SMCs) at very sector. And at the apex level there is a City Management Council (CMC)-which is yet to be constituted. Managing city affairs is the primary task of Greater Noida Authority, but residents too have a role n responsibility to play in maintaing the city clean n green. Parichowk Dot Com will play a proactive role in stregthening the structure of NMCs/SMC and will provide an information platform for all the NMCs, SMCs, CMC office bearers, Greater Noida Authority Officers and residents.
The Greater Noida's Development Messiah Shri Brijesh Kumar IAS (Retd) Former Chairman n CEO Noida n Gr Noida and Former Secretary (IT) Government of India during his tenure at Greater Noida had come-up with this innovative idea of NMCs for residents participation in managing the local civic affairs. Shri Brijesh Kumar is now President of SMC Gama-I, who is also an Adviser- in-Chief of Parichowk Dot Com.
We request Greater Noidates, Office Bearers of NMCs, n SMCs to please send/e mail all the details of NMCs formed, problems arising thereof in managing NMCs/SMCs, so that a communication gap could be filled up n solutions could be found through this platform.

Better residents of Greater Noida.....coming on to streets for POWER.....
.Greater Noida's better residents undertook Pad Yatra under the banner of NMCs to demand for 24 hrs Electricity, Security s connectivity... NMCs alleged that Greater Noida talking too much about too many ambitious project like Night Safari, International Airport, Mono Rail Gautam Buddha University , but the city is without electricity. They demanded a Green Paper indicating a Plan of action to meet the present and future shortfall in power supply to Greater Noida . Residents feel that they have been cheated by making false promise through huge advts in news papers and on its own website bout 24 hrs uninterrupted power supply .

Shantonu Sen , Greater Noida's First Resident while addressing people said that "Only recourse is legal...promises of 24 hour power not met...residents should go to national consumer court.....for causing mental torture and not fulfilling the promise". He added that we will have seek the information about the shortage of supply under RTI Act....he also suggested that residents should prepare a joint memorandum signed by thousands of residents....which will be useful in filing a case in the forum.

NMCs to undertake Pad yattra on Sunday at 10..00 am from Parichowk to Authority to highlight the issues of Electricuity, Security n Connectivity. Parichowm Dot Com organised the meetings of all the NMCs. NMC office bearers decided to to undertake with family Pad Yatra from parichowk at the end of Yatra at Authority a detailed memorandum will be handed over to GNIDA Officers. NMCs also passed the resolution to demand for the installation of Mahatma Gandhi Staute on Hindon River on Express way ....n to name the Surajpaur Kasna Road as Mahtma Gandhi Road. "30000 thousnad students studying in educational hub of India will draw inspiration from the Mahtma while passing beside Statue of Mahtma" says Gajanan Mali, a social worker n faher of parichowk Dot Com. He addedd that in all the major cities Gandhi Ji's Statue is there then why not in Greater Noida? After all India is identified with Gandhi n Taj...
Delta -I NMC, Ideal NMc in ideal City......
Meeting of all the NMC office bearers was organized by parichowk.com to identify the problems in the management of NMCs , to propagate the good work done by Delta-I SMC and all the NMC in the Delta one sector and to chalk out the strategy to strengthen this democratic system throughout the Greater Noida.
An innovative concept of NMCs at Block level , Sector Mgmt Councils at sector level and City Mgmt council an apex body at the city levels was started during the tenure of Shri Brijesh Kumar which was also enthusiastically implemented with full vigor n had became popular amongst the masses.
"NMCs are basically a part of Greater Noida Authority and have been assigned the functions of park maintenance, security and other local matters to it", said Brijesh Kumar Being the President of the SMC Gamma-I, he appealed to office bearers of NMCs to please replicate the good work done by the NMCs in Delta sector under the able leadership of Shri D.P.Gautam, A.K.Bisnoi Apoorva Srivastav n others. He requested women to come forward, in managing the NMcs. He also appreciated the effort of the parichowk dot com for coming forward in providing a common platform for sharing of the information about the NMCs. All the details of the NMCs, byelaws, important orders of the GNIDA pertaing to NMCs, and the grievances etc will no onwards available at NMCs corner.
Shantonu Sen First Resident of the Greater Noida City said that residents should first do their duties and then they have a right to blame the authorities for not performing. He said we too have a role in maintaining the city clean, green n secure.
Shri D.P.Gautam presented success story of SMC n NMCs in Delta-I and said that Greater Noida Authority officers are very co-operative , our suggestions, grievances have been attended too promptly, systems and the procedures are now being followed in toto. He said that our work has created a lot of pressure on the authorities to perform better.
Shri Gajanan Mali said that as the NMCs are a part of Gr Noida authorities .. on the lines of Spl Police Officers of the Delhi Govt.... NMC office bearers should be given powers. It was decided that SMC Delta will approach SSP. Mr Mali also suggested that this platform could be used by the district administration for voter card, polio campaign etc purposes as well. It was decided that SMC Delta-I will approach DM.
Smt Malini Dwivedi, F Block , Gama-I President, Advocate Dhanjay Kumar,Gama-II President , n other participants raised the point that GNIDA gives only Rs10,000/- as one time grant in aid., that should be of recurring nature. NMCs need to be given adequate finances to make it function properly. It needs to be given teeth. Greater Noida Authority does not recognizes the RWAs in the sectors. But representative of the RWA of housing society shall be a member of the concern NMC and the SMCs.
As per the byelaws there are separate NMCs for the shopkeepers and the institutioanl area viz Knowledge park to act as an intermediary between the allotees and the GNIDA and to manage the neighbourhood.
