Ishani Shankar...A Child Artist

A student of Classs VIII, Delhi Public School, Greater Noida is a child artist who keeps interest on various Indian cultural activities. Daughter of Smt. Suchitrita Das Chatterjee, who is also her guru . Her guru is providing her guidance for learning Kathak, Folk, Fusion and Modern Dance. She is also learning Classical song, Art, etc. at “KALA SRIJANI” a centre for Music and Art at BETA- I, Greater Noida.

 

She has completed her diploma in vocal and Kathak dance with distinction from ‘Prayag Sangeet Samiti’ Allahabad and pursuing Bachelor degree in vocal and Kathak. Presently she is learning classical song from a renowned artist, ‘Piyali Nath Sarkar’.

She has represented her school in many cultural fiesta and brought laurels to her school. She has been certified as ‘Keen Participant’ by her school.

She has participated in various sports activities also and is representing her school in Basket Ball tournaments.
