He was born in 28th April
1945 in Delhi the capital of India. He completed Higher Secondary
education from Governement Higher Secondary School, Dev Nagar.
He has taken Diploma in Painting and Decorating from ITI Pusa
in 1962. He joined Fine Arts in Sharda Ukil Arts's College,
New Delhi. He joined Bharatiya Kala Kendra in Ballet unit
in 1964 to 1975. In this period he worked as a dancer, actor,
set designer, costume designer, hear gears and ornaments designer,
and light designer. He worked with the production of N.S.D,
Kathak Kendra Natya Ballet Center, Sangeet Natak Academi and
Song and Drama Division. He was appointed as conveyer National
Art and Culture projects. He produced well known song "Yeh
Hai naya hindustan" on AIR national broadcast. He is
recognised as the best choreographer, composer on national
and international level and awarded by many awards. He was
nominated as a member in Film Sensor Board, Ministry of Education[Culture],
Sahatiya Kala Parisad Delhi and many other government and
semi government organisations many times. His "Prem Srote
Gurus" are Smt Sumitra Charat Ram, Sri Krishna Nair,
Guru Gopi Nath, Sri Yog Sunder, Sri Ramesh Mehta, Sri Panchanan
Pathak, Mr John Max Lobo, Shri K.K Sawant, Sri Tapas Sen.
He worked with Pandit Birju Maharaj, narendra Sharma, Sri
Ebrahim Alkazi, Colonel Gupte, Sri Habib Tanvir, Sri Anand
Shankar, Sri Surendra Mathu, Sri Ravi Shankar, Sri Varun Gupta,
Sri Krishnan Nambudari, Sri K. Shekharan, Sahammi Narag and
Sheron Pravhakar. |
