Kashiram Multispecialty Hospital - An assurance of better healthcare to Greater Noida's poor patients
Rushing to the hospitals like AIIMS, Escorts, Apollo or other leading hospitals would soon be the thing of the past as they can get such high end facilities at their door steps. With the total estimated cost of 650 crores, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is developing grand world class government hospital here in Greater Noida.
The government hospital, titled, ‘Kashiram Multispecialty Hospital,’ which is being considered a world class hospital, designed to deliver the facilities of all sorts to its patient. The hospital is also claimed to be the ‘best government hospital’ of its own kind which will give the facilities better than that of the private hospitals. The colossal set up is established over the area of around 48850 square metre.
The hospital would be comprised of over sixteen various departments like Pulmonary, Endocrinology, Diabetic, Neurology, Nephrology, Skin allergy, psychiatry, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics and many others. Apart from it, the hospitals will be equipped with 16 operation theaters and trauma centres, which would render their services round the clock. “Apart from 16 operation theatres there would be around 8 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Special Care Unit for burn patients,” said General Manager Planning, Greater Noida Authority, incharge of the construction of the hospital. The manager said, it would going to be the highly equipped hospital ever in history.
If the officials are to be believed, the hospitals would all world class equipments which are being imported all the way from abroad. Though none of the officials quoted over the fee structure of the hospital but the sources claimed that it would be similar to that of the other government hospitals.
The construction work is going on war-footing bases and is expected to get completed by this year end. “The work is in the final stage. It is espected to get completed by December this year,” said PK Kaushik, an in-charge for infrastructural development of the hospital.
The news of the establishment of the world class hospital spread smile on the faces. They residents claimed it ‘too good’ for the society. They considered themselves fortunate to have such facilities at their door step. “It seems we are fortunate to have such essential services near our home,” said Arti Sharma, a resident of Beta I.“It would be not only good for the localites but will also be an asset for the country,” she added.
