As per the reports Yamuna Expressway Authority has hiked the allotments rates for various categories. So as to provide public services, Authority has opened the alloments for other categories as well. Till now , allotments were being made for residentia;l, SEA and Mini SEZ etc categories. Residential plot allotment rates are increased from present Rs 4500 to 5500/- per sqm....Yamuna Expressway Authority revised allotments rates .... The Union ministry of environment and forest (MoEF) on Friday told the Supreme Court that no environmental clearance could be given to Mayawati government's Rs 685 crore Noida Park project unless the state declared the entire area adjoining the bird sanctuary as an eco-sensitive zone (ESZ). This fresh stand of MoEF during the final hearing of the petitions challenging the project was made before a Bench comprising Chief Justice S H Kapadia, Aftab Alam and K S Radhakrishnan.

Dumper hit a school bus near the Omex crossing in sector 93 in Noida injuring 12 children around 7.45am on Friday. The driver of the dumper escaped. All the students were from the Panchsheel Balak Intercollege a pioneering school mooted by the Mayawati government. Six students were later shifted to Kailash Hospital. One of the students, Harshit, is still admitted at the hospital and is in a serious condition.
