Noida - Greater Noida - Yamuna Expressway Community Blog : Toll tax is proposed to be levid on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway from October onwards. As per the agreement with Jaypee Infratech , NGN Expressway would be handed over to JP Infratech which is constructing Yamuna Expressway. After October NGN E way would be part of Yamuna Expressway, says a report. Is this toll tax justified? What is your view? Express fully!

Gautam Budh Nagar Consumers of UPPCL (All Categories) will get 100% discount on surcharge, about 50000 consumers will be benefitted. Says UPPCL Superitendenr Engineer A P Mishra. Consumers will have to make an application with registration of Rs 1000/ before 31st March 2010 and consumers can deposit the bill before 15th April, 2010.

Public hearing by Central Electricity Commission on parallel license to UPPCL in Greater Noida would now be held on 15th March. Earlier Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Council had given green signal to UPPCL for supply of power in Greatrer Noida , however, NPCL has filed petetion against this judgement with CEC.

India is looking at scaling down operations of its missions in Afghanistan in the wake of terror attacks on Indians. The sources also said an advisory may be issued asking all Indians in the country to return home.

As a result of good response to Rs 7,000 crore, 150-km-long 8-lane access controlled Upper Ganga Canal Expressway (UGCE) from Sanauta Bridge in Greater Noida to Purkazi in Uttarakhand got from all top private infrastructure development companies, the Uttar Pradesh government has now decided to give its go-ahead with another ambitious expressway project on the banks of the Upper Ganga Canal. The technical bids will be opened on Wednesday.

TATA 407 overturned due to burst of rear tyre near Shafipur on Noida Greater Noida Expressway on Tuesday evening 2 persons are reportedly died and about 20 injurred. 2 persons resident of Kallupura were reportedly brought dead at Kailash Hospital. 5 persons are being treaterd in ICU and 12 in general ward at Kailash Hospital. 3 persons at Sahdeo Hospital and 2 at Sharda hospital are also being treated. Traders were returned after selling Khoya and purchasing goods for trading.

Twelve people suffered minor injuries in a stampede at Indian Idol audition centre in Noida. Against the expectations of the organisers of 1,000 aspirants, over 5000 turned up at the centre. As the gate of Expo Mart in Sector 62 was opened for the first batch, there was a rush and many fell. The injured were rushed to Fortis Hospital and they were discharged after first aid.
